The arduous
task of picking oneself up off the floor...
July
2008
So...
having been named as team alternate for the Olympics, 'Timmy'
and I headed south to participate in team training camp.
There was one spot open on the team so we knew it would all come
down to our performance at the mandatory outing at the horse
park. Tim and I were so ready to get down there and give
it our all. His dressage has been so very good and he's a
very good jumper so I went down there very determined to give it
our best.
After three days of lessons with David the
mandatory outing began and boy did Timmy perform! He put
in a tremendous dressage test and a very fast and 'easy' looking
cross on the Saturday. The next day he jogged up perfectly
for the vets and then proceeded to show jump double clear!!!
He then had to pass ultra sounding which he did perfectly!
That night it became clear that we would be on the team as he
had exceeded the performances of the other contenders and passed
the vetting.
I
cannot begin to explain what that felt like. Like many, I
have spent my entire teen/adult life dreaming, waiting,
preparing, sweating and crying for that moment. Never has
it come easy for me in any way. It was the dream come true
and I was ever so proud of my horse, myself and Leslie ~ so
proud of all three of us for getting us there.
The next day
Timmy came up lame. Poof. Dream gone. A tiny
amount of swelling in his pastern revealed that he had strained
a ligament in it. I couldn't believe it. Everyone
was so very nice to me.. David O'Conner (our team coach) and
Christiana Ober (our wondrous vet) both told me that they were
so sorry and that the vote to put me on the team had been
unanimous. Let me tell you.. I had to count very fast and
furiously under my breath back from 100 to stop myself from
having a complete breakdown right in front of the entire
Canadian team and support staff. I couldn't wait to get
away and into my car and off to a parking lot so I could have a
proper breakdown!
So that was the end of that. The
good news is that my Tim is wondrously happy and in no pain
whatsoever. He is fairly oblivious to the injury and is to
be sure, much happier eating his grass than sitting in Hong
Kong! He will spend a month in his stall and hand grazing
and then start hacking again. He'll be back in time for
the Florida season and we'll have to have our eye on the
Worlds... perhaps he is just afraid of flying and would rather
just take a trailer to Kentucky. For me it has been a
rough blow to be honnest. I've naturally had many
disappointments before but this has been a very big one. I
have no idea why the world hasn't stopped to feel sorry for me..
HA! but I'm starting to get back to normal and
appreciating the lovely young horses that I have to bring up to
fill into Timmy's shoes for the next Olympics. It is
certainly not an easy game/life this horse business!
On a happier note, Leslie has had
much success recently with our other horses. He won the
CIC ** at Maui Jim with Mystere du Val, was 4th with Evening
Shade in his first advanced, completed well with the sales horse
'Rockstar' in the CIC *, and should have won the CIC* with All
the Buzz had he not jumped the last ADVANCED fence!!
Leslie also rode three of my young horses for me at Maryland
when I was supposed to be away and won the prelim with Java, won
the training with Mad Skillz and placed 2nd with Amarna. I
must have had them very well trained up for him! HA! Take
care, and best of luck.... Lesley & Lesliexo
'Timmy' and Lesley
named as alternate to Olympics!
We are so excited to announce that 'Timber
Spirit' and Lesley have been named as alternate for the Canadian
Olympic Team. Having conquered Rolex **** twice Timmy was
injured last year and missed out on being able to try for the
Pan Am's. Having not evented for almost a year he came
back this winter to be a total star and 100% sound after doing
so well at both a CIC and CCI *** and a few advanced horse
trials as well. I
cannot say how proud I am of my Tim. I just wish there was
a way to let him know how much I appreciate him. Everyday
I walk into the barn in the morning I say to him, "Do you know
how important you are?"! He is totally my hero and aside
from Leslie, always my best friend.
(thanks to Shannon Brinkman for the ever amazing photos..)

June 2008
We've been so busy we are way behind in our news! Where
to start... the horses have been nothing short of fantastic and
we are so proud of all of them!
'Private Heart' not only had
a top placing at Red Hills CIC *** but also did it again with a
great finish at the Fork CIC ***! He is an above average
jumper all the time and Leslie is excited to continue his
relationship
with him. We are so appreciative of Troy and Ann Glaus for
their continued partnership with us on this horse. 'Mystere du Val' who is
only eight, won the CIC *** at The Fork and completed his first
CCI *** at Jersey Fresh. 'Bean' (as he's known to his
friends..) won the dressage by a considerable amount but
unfortunately had a spooky green moment at the first water at
Jersey.. otherwise he would have won it as he show jumped clear!
Not bad for a young guy! He will be started up again soon
and aimed at Fair Hill *** in the fall.
'All the Buzz', Leslie's larger than life character of a 6
year old, won his first CCI * at the Florida Horse Park.
'Buzz' is so talented and doesn't he just know it!
'Timber Spirit' made Lesley proud over and over again
by doing a fantastic job at the CCI *** at Jersey. Due to
injury they hadn't done a three day in over a year but 'Timmy'
came back swinging! A super dressage, just time xc, and
one rail stadium. And the best news?.. he is 100% sound
and very happy with himself!

'Java', Lesley's gorgeous 6 year old, did two prelims
at the end of the Florida season and ended up 1st and 7th!
Fairly impressive for a young guy! Lesley has handed the
reins over to the other Leslie until she finds out about Timmy's
summer plans (Lesley is very superstitious..) so hopefully
Leslie will enjoy Java .. but not too much! She wants him
back after!

Our newest and youngest child - 'Mad Skillz' - went
off to his first real event since being imported! He did a
good dressage and jumped double clean show jumping and xc and
has turned out to be a real head-turner; very handsome! He
placed 2nd in his second outing and then won the 5 year old
division of the Young Event Horse at Talbot Run. Look for
him to move up to training at the Maryland Event!

Lesley is very excited to have the ride on Newspring
Farm's (Tim and Cheryl Holekamp) young Trakehner mare 'Amarna'
who is by the impressive stallion 'Amethyst' out of 'Actress'. They won their
first two young event horse competitions and did super at the
training at Seneca which was unfortunately not finished due to
weather conditions. This mare is absolutely sassy and
talented and just an example of what every chestnut mare should
be! Lesley is very grateful for the ride and looks forward
to a wonderful relationship with 'Amy'.

March
2008
We are ecstatic to report that so far our
winter has been a fabulous one and with any luck.. Our Luck..
will continue! Our 6 year olds - Java and Buzz - have gone
on to win another few events each and truly seem to have a
golden future. Leslie's intermediate horses - Private
heart and Mystere du Val - have stepped up and become advanced
horses which is very exciting for Leslie. Yet perhaps our
most exciting news to date is that Lesley's advanced horse
'Timber' has come back from his injury of last year in full
force! He placed at the Pine Top advanced in February and
then went on to the the very demanding three star at Red Hills
and finished in fine form with a very good dressage and perfect
cross country and most importantly, very strong and happy.
It's great to have him back as I very much missed my old friend.
As well we are excited to welcome a new young horse from England
who we have called 'Bones' (show name Mad Skillz) as he arrived
rather skinny from his travels! He is by Master Imp out of
a tb mare and you'll have to watch for him in the young event
horse series this summer! We took him to his first event
ever just three weeks after arriving as we thought that if
nothing else, the experience would be good for him and he
surprised us with his terrific behaviour! Sure he had a
few bobbles xc and he sure thought the stadium was baffling, but
he did it all with such an amazing head ... he is a real sweet
heart and very naturally talented.. now he just needs to be
polished!
timmy!
Bones
1st event.

Java looking like a champ!
Can U Believe
it? First Show of the Year ~ Done&Dusted.... (Jan 14th, 2008)
Hard to believe but
Ocala I has already gone by! We had a great start to the
year with Leslie's two horses ~ 'Jock' and 'Bean' placing 3rd
and 2nd in the OI, and our young horses 'All the Buzz' and
'Java' placing 2nd and 1st in the training! Leslie also
rode a friend of ours, Robbi Moon's, horse 'Kismit' to a third
place in the training. Our worst dressage score of the
weekend was a 27.. our best a shocking 16!!! Hopefully
this is a good omen for a great year to come! Leslie's off
now to England to search for new horses and we are working
towards continued success in the shows that will be coming fast
and furious now! Good luck to all!
Java winning the training division.
WEDDING & NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!!
On December 17th we got married at sunset on the beach in
Aruba! It was the most perfect moment either of us could
have imagined! We returned back to Florida just before
Christmas and had a fab party at our farm on New Year's Eve for
all our family and friends... a good time was had by all and it
will certainly be a night we won't soon forget!

(Rodney Powell, 'ey', William F-P, Alice F-P, 'ie')

(Will Delbrook, Paul Delbrook, Christiana Ober, Sara Dierks /
Sandy & Peter Green)
Congratulations
& Welcomes... Congratulations
to Megan & Kathy Rochford on their purchase of the young french
horse 'Nathan'... we hope they enjoy many many wonderful years
together! Law Eventing is
pleased to announce their newest arrival 'Eddy' (no show name
yet!) Eddy is a beautiful, young Irish thoroughbred recently
imported from England. We look forward to eventing him in
Florida this winter! (which by the way... the weather in
Florida is FAB! 80 degrees everyday!!!)
~ update! Congrats to Nadeen
Noon on his purchase of this lovely horse! Best of Luck!!!

WHAT A SPLENDID WAY
TO END THE SEASON...
Leslie
& Private Heart (Jock) end off their year with a 3rd place
finish in the Ocala **!!! This was their first three day
together.. we are so proud of Jock and very very appreciative of
his owners-Ann & Troy Glaus. Our working student, Keri
Short, also ended the season in style having had success at the
**.
BITTER SWEET
NEWS... Law
Eventing is proud to announce the sale of beautiful, 5 year old
'Fab' to Nicole Shinton of Greenbrier farm of Ocala Florida, and
Ontario Canada. We know Nicole will take good care of him
but we will miss the little guy horribly.. Lesley had so much
fun brining him along, and they placed in the top 4 of just
about every event they entered together. He is a total
sweetheart and we wish Nicole and Fab all the very very best in
their new partnership together...

THE BALD BRIT ROCKS THE AEC'S...
Leslie certainly had a fun time at the American Championships!
Our horses, All the Buzz and Java performed wonderfully in the 5
year old Championships and placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
It was wonderful to watch them go; looked like real champs!
'Buzz'
'Java'
On top of the success
with the young horse event, Leslie and 'Buzz' won the training
horse championships by a landslide.. and.. he also placed 4th in
the OI championships with Ann and Troy Glaus' horses 'Private
Heart'!
Private
Heart
Seneca Horse Trial ~ Happy Days for All....
Five year old 'Java' did his first training and placed
2nd with a dressage score of 27!! Not too shabby
for his first go! Our other five year old, 'Buzz'
won his training division with a dressage score of 26!
Back to Back
Maryland Horse Trials Brings Huge Success...
MARYLAND HORSE TRIALS II RESULTS: JULY 21-22ND...
Unfortunately... Leslie had a spill at the second last fence
in the OI which was too bad as he was in 3rd place with that
horse and was leading the dressage with Goo Goo Doll by 5 points
in the OT but was unable to finish his rides... but he is doing
well.. just a bit stiff!
So it was left up to the women! Lesley was 2nd
in the ON with the young horse Java and finished 3rd
with All the Buzz and 4th with Fab in
the OT ... all three horses finished on their dressage scores
that were between 29 and 31! Java will now upgrade to OT
in September and Fab will be doing his first prelim in the fall!
Fab
Fab
Buzz
Our student Ashley finished 3rd with both her
horses in two divisions of prelim! So despite Leslie's
nasty fall... a good weekend was had over all and he got to run
around on his bike and play director instead!
MARYLAND HORSE TRIALS I RESULTS: JULY 14TH -
15TH... Lesley ~
3rd in the ON with the young horse 'Java'
who will do one more novice next weekend and then move up to
training. 4th in the OT with the
5 year old 'Fab' who finished on his dressage
mark of 33!!
Leslie ~ 1st in the OT with
'Goo Goo Doll' (one of our sales horses ~ the
perfect amateur horse!), 2nd in the OT with
'All the Buzz'. 5th in the OT with
'Vogue' (another of our sales horses ~ please
check sales page and see photos below of this fine mare..)
So Law Eventing had a great weekend! Adding to our
enjoyment was that our student Ashley Dalton
placed 4th in the OP with her brand new horse
'Call on Me' which we found for her in England just a few months
ago... (Olli and Ashley below..) SUMMER SEASON 2007 STARTS
WITH A BANG!
RUBICON & SENCA (June) ~
'Fab' ~ as per usual.. is perfect... placed 4th in the open
training at Rubicon, should have placed 4th in the open training
at Seneca but we had a wee discrepancy between my watch and the
Timer's! Mine said 30 sec. under, theirs said 30 sec.
over.. alas.. it happens...

'Vogue' ~ did a wonderful job in the open training at Seneca and
placed 4th (Vogue is for sale, see her on our sales page...)

'Java' ~ our most handsome boy, young Java placed 5th in the
open novice...

(photos courtesy of our most favorite photographer - Mike
McNally)

'All the Buzz' ~ placed 3rd at Rubicon and 8th at Seneca in the
open novices. Not too shabby for just his first few
events! (photos below beautifully captured by Mike McNally)

Our students ~ Ashley Dalton placed 8th in the prelim with her
new horse, 'Call on Me'. This was their first show
together! Clee Toledano placed 7th in the open training!
VIRGINIA HORSE TRIALS (May) ~
'All the Buzz' and 'Java', our two new 5 year olds, attended
their first event ever! Both horses won the
dressage easily even with an error against them!
(woops.. we were sure we were supposed to turn right off center
line!!) Show jumping in the indoor coliseum was very scary but
both kids put on a brave face just having one rail each in a
moment of lost concentration! 'Buzz' made it through the
xc and ended up 3rd! 'Java' took a moment
too long getting into the water and the very 'unsporting' (HA!)
jump judge eliminated us for too many 'two steps' as he tested
the temperature with his toes before jumping in. However,
the water was the third last fence and he jumped the previous
ones very well. We are excited about these boys' future!
'Fab' as well attended the event, and in his usual fashion...
ended up with a 2nd place ribbon! I wish
I had photos to post but sadly, the photography was a bit
lacking at this venue... great venue.. not so great
opportunities to buy photos!
Our student Ashley Dalton and 'Rock Star' ended up 5th
in the one star ... YEA! Leslie rode Anne
Glause's athletic 'Private Heart' in the OI.
Leslie went slow due to very hard ground yet even with 22 time
faults was able to place 4th due to a good
dressage and beautiful clear show jumping.
WAREDACA YOUNG EVENT HORSE (June)~
Lesley braved 90 degree temperatures and took all three of our 5
year olds to the young event horse test. All three boys
were up to the challenge! In the largest field of 5 year
olds to date, the 'Law' boys ended up 2nd (Java), 3rd (Buzz),
and 5th(Fab). All three earned very high dressage and show
jumping marks. Fab was marked down one point below his
brothers in the area of confirmation as the judge noted that
perhaps 15.3 was not tall enough to make an upper level horse.
Fab wanted to know if she had ever heard of Theodore O'C... or
even Charisma for that matter! All three received
qualifying results and look forward to the championship!
GOODBYES & HELLOS...
Congratulates to Mogi Bearden-Muller of California on her purchase of 'Rion'!
We are all very sad to see him go but are sure that he will do
us proud out on the west coast! UPDATE: MOGI & RION PLACED
5TH AT THEIR FIRST EVENT TOGETHER!!
As most have been wondering.. we are very sad to report that our
big black boy 'Thunder' (a.k.a 'RainMan') has been sold to
Italy. His owners the Tackett's and Leslie will miss him
very much and we wish him all the best... We are very
excited to welcome Leslie's newest horse 'All the Buzz'
to our stables. Recently imported from England, Buzz is a
five year old dutch/tb cross who is an unbelievable jumper! We
anxiously await his first event! Photos to come soon!
We are crazy busy right now preparing to move up to Virginia
on April 28th. It is always sad to leave Florida but it is
starting to get very hot and we look forward to the cooler
weather.
MORE EXCITEMENT FOR
LAW EVENTING!! (March 26th) We've
been a bit bad about updating our news so there's LOTS to post!
'Fab' was 2nd at the first Young Event Horse show of the
year. As well, he is now a Training level horse! At
his first training he was 5th after dressage and clear cross
country. Unfortunately he jumped a bit TOO big in the
showjumping so we missed a 'b' element of a combo and had to
circle but in true Fab form, he never did touch a rail!!
We are excited that he's taken to the next level so easily!
He did one other training and again jumped brilliant.. however,
Lesley had a 'blonde' moment and forgot a fence!!! Having
done so well this winter at 6 events, we are giving him a month
off now as he's still only just five years old. He'll
start up again this summer up north!
'Master Peace' won again at the spring
Rocking Horse and placed 2nd at Poplar Place this past
weekend. He is entered to do his first prelim at The Fork
in a few weeks! 'Timber Spirit' placed
3rd in the advanced at Poplar Place and 8th in the advanced at
Pine Top... at Pine Top he stood in 3rd place after
dressage and showjumping but Lesley opted to go slow with him
cross country as it was just his 3rd event back. We are
sooo excited for him and look forward to doing the *** at The
Fork in a few weeks! Leslie won the CIC
** at Poplar Place aboard 'Ray' a beautiful grey gelding
owned by one of our students Ann Glause.
Our students are kicking *** as well!!!
Ashley Dalton and Jamie Cain ended up in the top 7 at Red Hills
in the Prelim division. Denise Rath was 7th in the CIC **
at Poplar Place. Keri Short placed 4th in the intermediate
at Poplar Place. Kathy Savory won the ON at the spring
Rocking Horse and Tracy Corey was 6th there as well! These
are just a few of their results that I can name off the top of
my head... many more than I can remember! WAY TO GO
ladies!!!!
New Additions... we recently
bought a 5 year old named 'Java' who we get to pick up in a few
days. He is a Hannovarian who was imported from Germany as
a two year old and was just broke a year ago. He is a
super mover and brave jumper and very very handsome!
Leslie went to France and found a lovely 5 year old selle
francais who we are having vetted and who will hopefully join us
when we return to Virginia at the end of April. We are
very excited about both of these horses and think they make very
promising upper level prospects. LAW EVENTING ADDS
MORE RIBBONS TO THE WALL! (Feb 23rd)
We are starting to get nervous that our good luck surely cannot
continue! At Ocala II Lesley won again with
her young horse 'Fab' and Leslie was second and third
with his stallion 'Master Peace' and our young irish horse 'XXX
Star'. Our students Anne Glause and Madi Blackman also
secured two wins and other top 7 placings on all of their horses
in the preliminary and training divisions! We
also had two 5 year olds at the first young event horse
competition of the year and they placed second and fourth.
At Rocking Horse III, 'Master Peace' added yet another blue
ribbon to his collection and 'Fab' did his first training event
to finish fifth after the dressage, jump clear cross the
country, but unfortunately he jumped FAR to big in the show
jumping and Lesley missed the 'b' element of a combination and
had to circle adding many time faults! A wee green horse
mistake but we certainly won't be upset with him for that!

(Fab and Lesley) Life is very busy right now
with lots of horses in for training and many great students to
teach. Leslie is off to France at present to horse shop
and Lesley is busy with Canadian Team training camp and then she
is heading off to Pine Top in Georgia with her advanced horse
'Timmy'. On March 3rd Leslie will be riding in the Derby
Cross in Ocala so watch for him there and go cheer him on!
MORE BLUE RIBBONS AT
ROCKING HORSE I!! (Feb 2-5) Despite
tornados and thunderstorms, Rocking Horse proved to be a great
time for all of us! 'Fab' won the ON, 'Master Peace' won
the OT, 'XXX Star' did his first training and was 7th after
dressage and had a clear show jumping however a few time faults
kept him out of the ribbons, Tracy Corey's horse 'Super Nova'
did his first ON with Leslie aboard and placed 2nd, and 'Timber'
made his comeback after a minor injury at Rolex 2006 and did a
nice slow cross country in the OI to place 8th!
AND.. our students were amazing as well!!!
Keri Short placed 1st in the IR division, Jamie Cain was 8th in
the PYR, Ashley Dalton did a great job with her three ponies,
and Madie Blackman placed 2nd and 4th with her boys in the PYR.
So, lucky us.. the barn aisle is looking very
nice with all the pretty ribbons! Fingers crossed it will
continue!! Leslie leaves this weekend for a
clinic in Seattle... brrrrrrrr. We look forward to the following
weekend at the Ocala Horse Park!!
FIRST SHOW OF 2007 - SUCCESS FOR LAW
EVENTING! Well we certainly got off to a
great start for the new year! January 12-14th brought the
first event of the year at the Florida Horse Park.
Sue Ockenden's stallion Simon (aka 'Master
Peace') did his first training level event and WON
it! He lead straight from the dressage! We are very
proud of him and are excited for his season to come.

(Master Peace) 'Fab' proved once again
to be probably the MOST adorable four year old as he placed
2nd in the novice...we are very grateful that we found this
guy at Millcreek Stables when we did!

(Fab) And.. the most exciting news of all is that Rion did his
very first event ever and did a fantastic job! He was 7th
after dressage, very brave cross country and only lost
concentration for a second in the show jumping to have one rail.
We are very excited about him! (he was absolutely one of
the most handsome guys there!!) We cannot thank Emily and
Micheal Friedman enough for partnering us up with this boy!

THE Best Body Protectors... We were
lucky enough to have been given some Racesafe Body Protectors
from the company Treehouse Sporting Colours when we last
visited England. We rode in them at the last event (see
photos above) and we can both honestly say, they are hands down
the most comfortable protectors to wear! You will LOVE
them. They are available via ordering from
www.treehouseonline.co.uk .
Check them out!
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR'S IN FLORIDA!

January 2nd, 2007 ~ We are back in beautiful Ocala and loving
every second of it!! We had a great Christmas and a
fantastic New Year. The horses are all going famously and
we are looking very forward to the upcoming events!
Some of our winter clients have arrived and
we look forward to receiving our other friends within the next
week. In total there will be about 20 horses with Riders
from Kentucky, Texas, Ontario, Ohio, Virginia and Maryland.
We went cross country schooling for the first
time the other day and everyone had a blast.

(Simon & Leslie .... Clover & J) NOVEMBER 2006 ~ RUBICON SUCCESS
The two children - 'Master Peace' (Leslie's six year old
stallion) and 'Fab' (Lesley's four year old) finished off our
2006 season at Rubicon. Both placed well with Simon
(Master Peace) finishing second at his very first event and Fab
finishing 6th due to some time faults because of slippery ground
and no shoes (without the time he would have been 3rd)!! We are thrilled with both of the boys
performance and look forward to their spring season in Florida!!

'Master Peace'

'Fab' CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FRIENDS!!
Many congratulations are in order! First off to our
students for having such success at the shows including:
Clee (placed 4th at her second prelim!!), Marissa, Mary
(numerous placings at prelim), Kathy, and Kate (huge success at
the Morven one star!). Congratulations to Lucy
and the Lippon family on their purchase of 'Another Garrison'!
'George' will be greatly missed but we look forward to following
your successes together! ANOTHER NEW ADDITION!
November 2006 ~
'Rion' (showname - 'XXX Star')is a beautiful young irish thoroughbred that we were very
lucky to find from Micheal and Emily Friedman in Maryland.
He has been started off very well in 'hunterland' and now looks
forward to a future of eventing! He is an A+ mover and
very keen jumper... not to mention QUITE a handsome guy!
Watch for him over the next year...
 THUNDER IS CHAMPION!!
Fall 2006 ~
'Thunder' (Rain Man) won the 5 Year Old Young Event Horse
Championships at Morvan Park. Not only did he win but
he did so by roughly an 8 point lead. He was awarded the
highest marks given for confirmation, for jump, and for over all
suitability and potential. We are all very proud of the
black boy and congratulate his owners the Tacketts on owning
such a fine horse with such an incredible future!
Thunder is now enjoying a well earned holiday
and will come back out this spring in Florida as a prelim horse!
Video of Thunder's performance will be played in the video
section of the USEA's website. A New Edition to the Team:
July 2006 ~
Law Eventing is pleased to announce their newest member!
'Simon' (Master Peace) is a six year old English Tb owned by Sue
Ockenden of Bromont, Canada. Simon's father is Espiritu
who Leslie actually rode many moons ago in England! Espiritu is
by Master Spiritus and thus is actually related to Lesley's four
star horse Timber Spirit! Simon has only just been started
but displays a huge jump and quite a keen attitude towards the
cross country. His biggest problem at present is being a
young stallion and keeping his mind on the job! He will be
making his debut at Waredaca in the novice section and then on
to Rubicon.
 Waredaca Results 'George'
(Another Garrison) wins yet another OI!!!! With a
third placed dressage test and a clear showjumping round Leslie
decided to go slow on the cross due to nasty hard ground.
Even with a handful of time faults George still ruled the OI!
'Thunder' (Rain Man) secured another win in the five year old
development series! It is almost getting embarrassing...
With a score in the high 80's, Thunder easily won the class.
We didn't even think he had jumped his best but the judges
seemed to like him! Can't wait for the championships now!

'Fab' had his first ever public debut entered in the four year
old development class. Considering we have only had him
for a month he did a very good job! (just a little whinny
here and there in the dressage!) He ended up third over
all.. not too shabby for a first outing!
Seneca Results: 'Thunder'
(Rain Man) wins again! Entered in what will be one of
his last trainings, Thunder had a wee mistake in the dressage
which made him 3rd after his test. Yet with a beautiful
show jumping round and a quick cross country he still managed to
secure yet another blue ribbon making it his 7th one to date!
'George' (Another Garrison) easily won the OI this
weekend. With a beautiful dressage, a clear show jumping
and only 7 seconds over the very tight time of the cross
country, he came out ahead in what was a very competitive field
of horses. We all love the George! Baby
'Fab' had his debut event! A complete saint he
received a score of 33 in the dressage ring, just 2 points
behind the leader. He put in a lovely hunter type show
jumping round and was a real trooper over his first cross
country course.. He was exhausted!! He ended up 3rd and we
are all very excited about his future.
